Yoss,
any plans on being it utah early season? i am also debating using these for a new AT set-up. however, i'm sure my procrastination skills won't allow me to buy these.

Appreciate it Yoss but i don't wanna hold ya back from doing anything with them. I'm only like 30% on this one. I don't have a lot of $ to spend but i'm looking to get into the BC this year so i was going to post a "looking for cheap AT set-up" when i get out there. These might be a little pricey after i get bindings, skins etc... so we'll see. Hopefully you can sell em or mount em before i get there so i won't be temped

That one is the Janak Bro?
Janak Bro, what the hell is that?
Maybe just the same ski with a new name?
I must have missed a memo somewhere.

Perhaps it was long the lines of "Yo, I'm selling Atomic Janeks, Bros!" with no pmgear reference intended. I was confused as well. The "Bros" comment did get me to read his post though. Interesting marketing strategy if intentional.
Your multi-state quiver stashing plan is impressive.Uno mas

Looked it up, it's definitely a different ski, at least slightly.
There's still the Janak, but there's also the Janak Bro.
I think there were some threads on it here somewhere...off to look for a second.
More of a jibber version, I thought - full twin, more shape, etc.Last edited by Yossarian; 10-05-2007 at 10:13 AM.

Oh, I got it now.
Janak - comes from same old mold, Tele Daddy/Sugar Daddy/etc
Janak Bro - tele topsheet for the Pimp Daddy, which is the jibby full twin version of the Sugar. Also rumored to be very soft, unlike the Sugar/Tele/Janak.
Okay. Whatever.Thrutchworthy Production Services

I stand corrected. And I quote....
The Janak goes new-school this year with its twintipped redesign. At 99mm in the waist the Bro will float fine, and his increased sidecut makes for a better carve on hardpack than this ski's predecessor.
SPECS:
Sidecut:126-99-117
Core: Cap Sandwich
Profile: Beta Profile
Surface: Matt Topsheet Sublimation
Base: 2000Uno mas
