Employees at MT resorts get two lift tickets to EACH participating resort in MT. A season pass will only get you a discount, usually half day rate, but not all resorts give that discount.

okay so i won a "big sky weekend" at the alpinist film festival (silent auction) in JH last week... which means I have to use it soon or else it turns into a golf weekend.

this means the boy and i will probably be coming out for the summit, if i can swing flights. what is the deal NYC to bozeman? why can't I find anything that doesn't connect through seattle? grrr.

oh- also, what exact dates will people be at big sky? just so i make sure we overlap when we are there.

I am planning on skiing at Lost Trail 2/21 Thurs, Fri with my sister and her family, and Sun-Fri at Big Sky/MB with some friends from the midwest. any info on discount tickets in the area would be appreciated. Hope to catch up with some of ya along the way.

Courtney - United flies from O'Hare to Bozeman during the winter, maybe try that? Also Denver's your other option, along with SLC.

We should have United 737s flying into Bozeman here soon. We already have 737 and 757 flights on Saturdays, by Delta...think those flights come from Atlanta.

Wow, I need to lurk more often. Totally missed this Summit thread. I'll be rolling into Bozeman on the 20th. Probably be skiing Bridger on the 21st. Hopefully Big Sky on the 22nd, and would like to ride Big Sky again on the 23rd, however, the rest of my group will be at Bridger that day. I have my own wheels, so I can get up to Big Sky if the others don't go. I'll read this entire thread this afternoon to catch up on what the plans of the collective are. I'll most definitely be hanging around the Beermuda Triangle (mostly the Hauf) at night.

Sweet. The "Summit" is now a mini, if even that.

I'd be more upset if my life weren't as busy as it is, and I weren't as broke as I am. Oh well.

If anybody's still gonna come up, drop me a line in this thread or PM. But for those who have bailed, or chose not to come, you can't say it's because of a poor snow year here.

Bridger Gully was looking really nice for the freeride. I'm not sure that we have critical mass to get a group rate for Bridger tickets, though I can ask.

I'm gonna have to bail on this one. Try as I might, I couldn't get my knee strong enough to really be in skiing shape by this weekend. I may be up there a few hours, but it'll just be skiing groomers on Alpine and Pierre's--if I can even manage that. Knees are teh suck.
