TR - Dog Days at "The Center Patch" and more!
First, I'll mention TR inspiration from skier666 and bcrider.
Skier666 for his extreme Independence Day TR that convinced me to go to "The Center Patch."
Bcrider for including photos from past year's trips on his recent Saddlebag TR.
Date: July 8, 2007 (other dates below)
Location: "The Center Patch"
Weather: Sunny
Participants: Vets, Sputnik, Baka, Makisha (others below)
Gameplan: Get in July turns to keep the streak alive (currently 45 months)
Duration: 12 laps (also for 4 years at various times)
Vertical: not sure (varies depending on when)
Beta: see pics or ask
Pics: Mrs. Vets (others below)
Music: I'm hoping that skier666 has a subwoofer earthshaking suggestion.
A pretty good start:
Then Makisha gives chase:
Baka:
Sputnik and Makisha:
A good way to spend the "dog days" with the dogs.
A little "Center Patch" history coming up next.

I've had the pleasure of skiing "The Center Patch" with Doug, Divegirl, MJ, Arty50, others, and when the park is set up what seems like a cast of 1000's.

Nicely done, Vets! Your dogs look like they love the patch as much as you do! It was fun to check out the pics from past trips too.
Where exactly is your "patch"? We gotta get month 46 this month .The mountains are calling and I must go - John Muir

Thanks. This patch is dissappearing fast. I was getting about 4 turns per run on Sunday. If you want full beta I can send it to you. I'll probably head up to Roundtop/Sisters tomorrow and see how what in previous years has been the "October Patch" is holding up. Didn't you get in some turns up at Saddlebag pretty late last summer? I might consider that to help to keep the streak going.
