Praxis Powder 185 reviews?
If anyone has actually skied these, please write a review in this thread.
I searched and found hype, "fondling reviews", hype, pulled triggers, and hype. I found only 2 posters who claim to have ridden them, and they registered 1-2 weeks ago. I'd love to hear a few more unbiased reviews.
Sure, this ski should rock for lightweights, but does this 182cm tip-to-tail ski live up to the hype? Or is it worthy of a green robot graphic instead?
I wish success to Praxis, and hopefully a run of longer skis someday.

Keith is looking at various options, including possibly a longer version.
the sierra praxis owners are waiting for snow. it's dumping now but we still need a base...at which point expect plenty of feedback here. i've had my pair for a couple of months and finally I am mounting them this week now that winter is here.
sfotex might be getting actual skiing on his pair.Know of a pair of Fischer Ranger 107Ti 189s (new or used) for sale? PM me.

Give me about a week... mine get here on the 28th. I am going to be pretty critical of them as they have some pretty big shoes to fill in my quiver.
And now I just have to bend the hell out of some FKS brakes...

Probably Norda's in Logan or Park City, UT cuz sometimes they give me shop access. Especially if I can call a bro I trust then we KO'em together. Plus, I have only heard of them screwing up 1 pair in like 10 years and they just bought him new pair. So if they don’t want me to do it I will have them drill'em.
The BIGGEST MUST is what Keith says: "Please measure for mounting position line is not perfect, close but it's just a graphic. I have been recommending 97cm from tip the line is approx. 96.5"
Ski_F- I have a pair of Z12’s too keep’em light or I was considering the NX21. But slow to do the NX because I just don’t know how they would tour, ya know?Last edited by TheDon; 11-26-2006 at 10:48 PM.

If it keeps snowing I'll get mine out next week, they're mounted and ready to go. I wanted to try Lookout today but I had to get my deer butchered before it froze solid in this cold weather.

Sadly no, I haven't skied them yet. My parents have been in town since November 17th and just left yesterday, so I haven't been skiing since the 15th at Loveland.
Anyway, looks like some snow is moving in, so hopefully I can try them this Thursday, if not then this weekend for sure.

Coincidence…I think not!
BloodSS- I think you got your wish!
My Praxis 185.5 showed up today, and snow came with them!
I’m gonna call in healthy tomorrow! The construction is way beefy, the flex is good feels a touch softer than the Gotama but stiffer than my '06 Gun Labs. I don't thing the pictures do the graphics any justice. They seriously look so sick! I can't wait, holy sh-nikes!

I emailed Kieth but no response (week ago). I want a pair, does anybody know if all skis are spoken for?

out of curiosity, how did all y'all learn about Praxis skis?
was it just rabid Maggot word of mouth?

actually heard about them like 4 months ago on a music messageboard.....go figure
anyway, anyone talk to keith in a while? I told him I might be interested in batch 2, and I heard they will be available with clear topsheets to see the nice purdy core.....
its almost x-mas time....

Batch two still has the camo top sheets. However, there are still new topsheets in the mix for future batches.
