Unbelievable. I'm going to guess that was El Diente and Crestone Needle.

solid pics in crappy light man, job very well done.

And I thought the same thing as LB. But then I realized iski was just making it more sporty for himself. Let the others get ahead, then run up, catch 'em and pass 'em.

Hot damn it's going to be a good winter of iski TR's if they are already starting off this good in October.

    I dig this shot:

I am also in shock that this was this year . . . looks veritably like midwinter. I love that we can count on iskibc to consistently take us there - yet another fabulous TR! So much for that indian summer, eh?!?

I think I'm getting soft. That really doesn't look like much fun to me right now. We'll talk after I spend a month on the beach in Central America though. I just need a vaca from boots and waking up at 5 am everyday... I'll be back.

Nice pictures and way to slay it early!

Heh. I'll be the first to admit that I'm out of ski/climbing shape right now. I've gotta stop running. It's great for conditioning my lungs, but it's killing my legs. Was feeling the 'slow motion' thing yesterday on the climbs.

I use an Olympus E-300 dslr with a UV filter (obviously didn't need it yesterday ) for lens protection. Most of the time yesterday the wind was blowing so hard and the snow was blasting me in the face, I basically just pulled it out and pressed the button without really setting anything up. py vis is very hard to get a good shot. It was more difficult to keep the snow and ice off my lens.

Thanks CS. I'm quite sure you know how it is too. It's hard enough to get good shots when the weather is calm. Yesterday was quite challenging.
