If the goal is to simplify things so the ancient code can still work, wouldn't (a) not providing a proprietary app, and (b) not worrying about how a third party forum interface (tapatalk) works with the website?
I'm no code jock, so I'm talking out of Jer's ass on this one.I still call it The Jake.

I’ve mostly used the iPhone app for a long time now. Rarely go on the desktop anymore. And the iPhone app is working fine now afaict other than the lack of pic posting capability (which would seem like an easy code fix but idk)

If it was normal software I’d suggest updating app and os versions. This is not normal software, so who the fuk knows
