Oof. Would’ve thought they could at least push enough snow around to get a strip down nell

When you say Elk Camp only do you mean just the gondola, or the gondola along with the Elk Camp chair that is used for the bike park?

The skiing wasn’t bad yesterday on Ajax, but the lines at the express were the worst I have ever been in at Aspen. Then the lift kept stopping from idiots not able to load and unload properly.

They need to get things opened to the bottom to release the crowds.

My kids really want to go again today…just not sure I want to deal with it.

At least you have the option. Out here in the PNW there are no lift lines because the lifts aren't spinning.

The 3 line yesterday was one of the worst slowest lines I have ever experienced. It literally took an hour. Skiing was good but couldn’t bring myself to wait in that line more than once

T to B is open. By next week, they'll likely have the couch, Copper, Back of Bell, etc. Hopefully Snowmass will have some real terrain by then as well.

Yeah, must have opened yesterday afternoon, or the trail status just wasn’t updated in the morning when I checked.

Now…how bad will fighting the stupid traffic be next week for leg building laps with the bridge closed.

    Opened at 1ish..

Skiing this afternoon was pretty good.

Line at 3 disappeared once spar opened.

I know they were trying to get Ruthie’s open soon and could see Copper being a week or so out too. That’ll spread folks out well.

Snowmass’s terrain can’t be too far off to get the knob going, I would expect that in the next day or three

They should just be honest here:

    And have it simply say:

    "Must be rich."

THE Aspen/Snowmass / Greater Roaring Fork Valley 23-24 Thread

At least it won’t be on mornings where the hard core folks are frothing for a I control to finish… that said, there would be a mutiny if they held the rope until a group was like 1/2 way up.

Stuff like that happens at other mountains

Exactly, only Wed and Fri and presumably only on non-storm days when control work isn’t happening. Still a lame, new money-chasing concept, but that’s the world we live in now.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I always like to go for a tour on a full stomach.

They just didn’t mention they’re cutting a cat road up to the top of the Bowl…

But for the record it does say they will be experiencing the Bowl BEFORE breakfast at Cloud 9.

Good to see so many out this weekend. Skiing was decent today! They have opened up a few more trail and I think we’re one good storm or a few of what we’ve gotten recently away from bell and a few others.

jong questions i'll try and keep it brief. have a work obligation in parachute I should get out of by 11 tomorrow (tuesday). want to try and sneak in some laps at aspen that afternoon.

I know nothing about aspen, can anyone direct me to where this would be the most efficient on the 4 mountains they have with parking/sliding given current conditions? I am ikonic.

    thanks and sorry.
