Another beauty of a day today, maybe my favorite of the season. High stoke, many mag run-ins, short lines, good visibility later in the morning. Skiing is fun.

Good meeting you and getting some early laps. That was a great morning, gotta take that spring pow when we can! Just when it started to warm up, we snagged the Elevator opening, which was a nice bonus.

Last night ski of the season yesterday, central was super crowded. We found some nice snow sneaking over to wild side. All of the fresh snow in the open had a solid sun effect on it that’s going to make for some nasty skiing as it freezes the next few days.

Long shot, but lost a glove. If anyone happened to find it let me know. Dropped off chair 2 near bottom of The Fan. Skied immediately to it and was already gone. Love these gloves. Dammit.

    March madness continues
Youngest sent Nash for the 1st time today
    Great day for it .
Snow is disappearing quickly but I think we'll get some more snow up top before it's over.
We survived el Nino and could've been a lot worse.

Forecast for the end of the week is looking solid for up top. Down low, not so much.

What an amazing day to be up in the mountains. Great snow and short lines. I hope we get more of those interspersed of course with a few dumps for replenishment.

    My duh.

But I'm not proud, so I went and skied slushy bumps at Central.

Inaugural GoPro footy from Wednesday last week. Finally upgraded from the old hero 3. Wow, camera tech has come a long way in 10 years. Thanks for the hookup @auvgeek!

Anybody heading to the padded seats tomorrow? Hoping for a switch to snow early tonight. Expect heaviness, but anxious to get back up after a few long weeks of work.

That Nash entrance was interesting before they closed it. Not really a camera worthy day but nothing else better to do.

Today was definitely a day of slop & chop. Started with rain in Lot 4, before turning fully to snow in the first hour. 4-5" of creamy snow up high on a soft, wet base made for actually fun skiing - though a bit treacherous hiding some of the recently melted out rocks. M102s were manageable, but I was definitely wishing I'd brought my Corvus for the day.

After lunch the temps shot up, turning everything manky and mid-mountain crazy sticky. The whole mountain was empty all day long, with lifties removing the ropes from the Chair 2 line at 1pm. I haven't had many days I've been wetter while it's snow, but it beat expectations and our kids had a lot of fun on the last day of lessons.

How’s the snow pack doing? Thinking of booking a trip April 20 weekend for some spring skiing/touring. Last I heard, the NW had a rough start but then some big storms came through late season? Odds stevens will be open? (Is there a stevens thread? I seem to be too much of a jong to find it)

Stevens thread would be the main PNW one. Stevens has been doing the best of all Westside resorts snow-wise, although I haven't personally visited at all this year.

Gotcha. For some reason I thought that was a touring thread. Thanks
