Damn, that makes an F1 car look like a Hyundai. Probably the next gen will just be drones so this type of aircraft is probably the last of the breed

My kid took me for a ride in a Piper Apache. At the end of the ride he did a maneuver that pulled a few G's, whatever you can do in an Apache without the wings coming off, and I just about lost my lunch. Pretty sure I would have passed out in the F22 before the wheels left the ground.

The F-22's aren't cheap either, $150 million a pop.

I always wanted to become a fighter pilot so I could drive one of those. I made different choices in life though.

The economics of the F-22 are difficult due to the fact that they are so advanced we can't allow other countries on board to share the costs (I don't think even Britain or Canada is allowed to have them).

It's way more impressive in person. When it comes over your head about 300 feet off the deck you can feel every molecule in your body vibrate. Hope to catch it again next summer.

Should be noted that none of these maneuvers really even matter. Close in dogfights are incredibly rare. The F-22's air superiority comes from the fact that it can shoot down planes 150km away while every other plane in the world has at best a 50km range on the F-22 due to the fact that it can't be detected.

Sometimes the F-22's practice over Vegas here. I used to live in Orlando, I swear those F-22's can go from floor to ceiling quicker than even our space rockets. And to see it in formation is pretty cool.
