proper skin sizing?
i recently was given a set of skis i intend to set up with a touring rig and am unsure how best to fit skins. do i want them as wide as the narrowest dimension? the skis size up at 127-97-117 at 180cm. any help and advice would be much appreciated (also any treasure chests where i could find them at a discount would also be cool).
thanks for the help.

I like to have as much coverage as i can get from the skin.
I'd get a 120cm and trim it. Better for traverses on steep terrain but a little sluggish on the flats ( relative). Be sure to leave enough exposed edge so you still have grip on ice.

120 mm would be the best. More coverage the better..
