Anybody have any suggestions for skiing things around Red mountain pass in about a week? Solo splitboarder, mostly want to climb high for some good views, want to stay out of most steep slopes unless I luck into finding a partner at a trailhead. Might consider some ~35 degree solar facing bowls if the snowpack has transitioned.

Yoyo! Looking to head down from bozeman next couple days and any beta would be great. Looks like a decent warm up this last week but still some high n facing cold snow? Did the dust storm do much damage? Skied around the great basin last week, it was v sick.

I don't think there's any more "good" cold snow to be found even up high N facing, we've went a few nights with little/no freeze. But I haven't been out since Sunday so I could be wrong.

Things look to cool off in the next day or two, hopefully some good corn over the weekend.

Thanks for the beta dudes! Was a pretty damn good few days, dust be damned! You guys have some sick shit around there. Can't believe the county pays those dozers to plow the side roads! And I had a mental breakthrough I can only assume was brought fourth by all the heavy metals- snap yer ski poles inside of yer tech toes and you've got a new super tech carry system!

Still decent coverage above 11k on not South slopes.

Did a few runs with the #1 thing at Silverton up in the Grassy/Sandwiches zone.

The Colorado looks skiable top to bottom.

On the 10th or so got a flat tire headed up Tomboy Road so turned around after I changed the tire just to be safe but did ski Alta Lakes on the 12th with my son. Plan is to do some Imogene next week as well as another Alta Lakes mission or so.

Didn't see the patchskiing thread, but got decent turns yesterday for the end of July. South San Juan, really a fishing trip but brought the gear just in case. Rocks to dodge, but not bad snow. Skied the looker's right of the main lines before getting back to the cutthroats.

Gonna be at Telluride next Saturday to Thursday. Will have kids and wife plus another fam but if I can sneak away, would love to get some mellow BC laps in if anyone's interested in linking up.
