Spring in Yellowstone NP.

The griz circling the bison ranged from 30 yards to 200 yards from us. The griz taking a bath was about 100 yards. Saw four other grizzlies and a black bear all more than 200 yards-got shots but a little too far away.
No threat to the bison from this bear. There is a bear called the Preacher, he probably goes 700-800 pounds and would make any animal a bit nervous.

Hi mtcham,
Excellent photography. The buffalo looks jealous from the bear.
In 11th picture bears seems scared. Did buffalo attacked the bear?
