Shitty news. Very impressive for such a young guy.

Picked up a copy for my 10 year old son who has a fascination with "lost" ski areas and old chair lifts. Looking forward to checking it out with him.

    RIP
Made me pretty sad to read this. Picked up a couple copies of the book. Sending one to my best friend who nearly lost his life in Jackson in 2001. +++Vibes+++ to all his fiends and family.
A woman reported to police at 6:30 p.m. that she was being "smart-mouthed."

hopefully the family knows about that.
definitely a heads up for me that my daughters need to know how to access some of my stuff and know how to keep sending out bills.

Guys, it doesn't matter whether this kid was a talented artist or not. The fact is he was just a dude trying to enjoy himself skiing at Jackson, and unfortunately caught a bad break. Of course now, the only people suffering are his family/friends.

It's not any more of a tragedy if the kid had a website/book or whatever.

i don't think anyone is saying it is more of a tragedy, just that it makes them aware how they could have easily connected with this kid and shared their passion had they/we crossed paths. the book also helps to get to know him, which then makes the sense of pain more real.
it's no more of a tragedy. it just makes it hit closer to home.
