I’ve got an offer of 12K here in Fort Collins, but he’s struggling to come up with the cash. I need to sell in the next month or so at the latest, so don’t worry about offending me. Make an offer. The thing is a party wagon (and a babe magnet)!

04-23-2024, 06:18 PM #12729There are absolutely no holes in the shipping container. There are no doors and no windows to leak.
Every night you can simulate being locked in a container being shipped across the Pacific.
The shipping container tiny home was intended for off grid use. There is no toilet. A composting toilet was our plan for waste management and plant fertilizer generation. It can be powered by solar with a 120v inverter or a generator. There are no holding tanks for water.Know of a pair of Fischer Ranger 107Ti 189s (new or used) for sale? PM me.

I don’t care how hot it gets, you will always feel like you’re freezing your ass off in the shower if you don’t have a shower curtain. I had an attic apartment and lazily went no curtain because of the slope of the roof. Always fucking hated it.

They say it has no holes but that the wastewater drains directly outside, how does that work?

lol, and then went out of business!!!
But hey, Ron Nash bought the remains of that plant and kept the key people … and now they (Outdoors RV) make great tow behind campers … for retired old folks with lots of cash who bitch about the quality of the recliner or the 12V TV it comes with. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great product still, but they stopped making family friendly non slide layouts years ago. Thankfully I have one of the older units that meets our needs (bunk, jackknife couch, no slide). Eventually I’ll probably replace it with a Class C because no way will my wife ever tow this thing if I get too hurt to drive, let alone learn the hookup procedure._______________________________________________

Earthcruiser calls it quits. https://expeditionportal.com/earthcr...ding-industry/
Let’s pour one out for the impending demise of the $500k overlander industry. lol.
I vaguely remember when this Australian company had Fuso platform rigs for around $200k….then the overlander craze picked up, then Covid came, and predictably enough Bend became the US branch of EC and the price went to $600k.Know of a pair of Fischer Ranger 107Ti 189s (new or used) for sale? I get kinda pissed when I see those things on the road. Like who the fuck needs that? Most places that I would go off the grid to camp at those trucks wouldn't make it past the first switchback and it would take them an hour to get there burning a couple of hundred dollars in gas. So dumb.

I believe Earthroamer and Earthcruiser are two different companies. The cruiser that I'm familiar with has a popup soft top and is probably closer to 300-400k. Roamer is the 1mil monsters.

The entire “overlanding” fad is all about 50 million lumens of light bars because everyone is now apparently suffering from night blindness. Giant bumpers on Sprinters with huge winches that will never get used. Orange ladders up every side of the vehicles. Endless Rotopax for those times you run out of gas driving through Boulder. Hi-lift jacks cherry red, never used. Traction pads bolted on by the Rotopax for quick deployment in Bozeman urban pot holes.
That’s why 500k “overlanders” exist.
