The story. Names included.
I've decided to put this in a different thread, because I will probably nuke the other one.
On July 11, I agreed to purchase a demo pair of 188 Ninthward CVPs off of Campbell from Ninthward. I sent funds and shipping information with Paypal that evening.
I wasn't too concerned about when they got shipped out because it was the middle of summer, and I was on the road. And I kinda forgot about them.
On August 14, I sent a message to Campbell inquiring about my skis. He mentioned that he still had them, and hadn't mailed them because he didn't have any shipping info for me. And that he forgot to tell me that. I emailed him my shipping information.
On September 6, I sent Campbell another message, and got no response.
On October 2, I sent an email to Shane at Ninthward, and the summary of events. I also posted on his FB wall:
Where are my skis guys? Seriously. Do you plan on sending them to me or did you just take my money?
Yesterday morning (October 3), I got the following response from Shane:
Sorry for the communication error. I was not informed of this. I have the 188 cvp in my possession. Please send me your shipping address and I'll send them out this week. I assume you were speaking with Campbell about this? Anyhow I'll handle this.

Today, I got this message on FB from Campbell:
OMG we have a lost pair, luckily i have more in stock , please send your address again to shane@ninthward.com
so let me know if another random pair of cvps show up before these do, wtf, I am bummed lost a pair,
And then I got this email from Shane:
They'll go out this week. I need to get boxes, they should be here by thursday.
So now i'm not sure what to think. It's clear that these two don't speak a lot. And I think i'm getting some skis from them.

Even if you were partially responsible for the period up until Aug 14, the 7+ weeks to see your skis after that are completely unacceptable. Pathetic customer service.

Wow, I thought it was a member here. This totally blindsided me.
Methinks that the ball will start rolling pretty damn quick now and none-too-soon.
Ninthward, you need to take care of your paying customers better!
There are a lot of potential customers here who are interested in how you handle this situation from now on...

Looks like a bunch of bullshit from what I read. I don't think they were going to rip you off but I don't think they don't give a fuck. I bet the "other pair" never shows up because they never shipped.

Not very professional for a ski company trying to market their skis through the internet. Personally i will think twice about ordering anything from Ninthward.
Hope your skis come through with some rebates and free stuff.

Dude, you had to wait many months, were ignored entirely by a COMPANY dependent on you and us, and still have no answers.
You deserve two pairs of skis if it comes to that... hehehe

Btw, good call on naming names, esp. with this coming from a manufacturer. Hopefully this ends with tons of asskissing for you and an uncomfortable sales meeting at Ninthward.

I wonder if they'll be scratching their heads when they go out of business wondering where they went wrong? Cant treat paying customers like that. I'm sure its happened before.

Good example of why legalizing weed may not be a good idea...

Well fuck, I was hoping for more drama than this... The misfortune of others entertains me.

Quite a PR disaster, but they don't seem to get that.
How about sending you the skis really fast AND getting you a "little" gift?

Ninthward is so gangsta they've turned against dot-com capitalism and now only sell direct to the hood.

PS. They practically give their skis away pricewise. Give em some slack.
Silent....but shredly.

Is boycotting still the "it" thing for this summer, or is it played out cuz it's fall now??
Good to hear you're getting your money back. Sucks you didn't get the skis you wanted.
