How about Alex Zanardi's hand-controlled open wheel car for a spin around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course? I can check with the Conquest Racing guys when I'm at the Indy 500 in a couple weeks.

White rim is a great ride! I highly recommend getting down to White Crack (giggle, still like the name) on the southern end of the trail. It has some of the most spectacular views mine eyes have ever seen.

Heli-skiing the Chilkats
I could probably arrange heli-skiing in Juneau,Alaska with local para-olympian Joe Tompkins.I've worked with Discovery channel contractors and they can bring it,you'll have a great time.Let me know if I can help.

Thanks mang, I'll be sure to get in touch when it's time to plan the winter trip to AK.
They've basically told me to just decide where to go and what to do, so obviously I'll be doing some heli-skiing in AK, even if it uses up 50% of the budget. I'd really like to make the entire season about just skiing and spend the season chasing storms but thats not what everyone else wants.
gapers.

Andy
I mentioned your project to Marc Mast from the WRAP.
http://www.woodriverabilityprogram.org/
He already has a raft trip going on the Main Salmon River in central Idaho. The run is through about 80 miles of wilderness.
I gave him your website and some info. He will most likely be contacting you shortly.
Good luck with everything. Can't wait to see some of the adventures.

hey man, congratulations. I don't know much about adaptive sports, but there must be some awesome things going on in NYC - the population here is too big and too crazy not to.

very cool Andy, hopefully mainstream america catches your enthusiasm as quickly as this place did. if you're roadtripping east to west (or vice versa), you'll most likely have to pass through the midwest. there's actually decent climbing (all single pitch; sport, trad or bouldering) and surprisingly fun mountain biking in iowa and the mississippi river makes for never-ending wakeboard/waterski runs. maybe not a destination, but if you're passing through, i'd be happy to help anyway i can.
ever heard of ragbrai? national geographic adventure just ranked it #7 in its list of most fun shit ever.

also, one of the partners at my firm is a vietnam vet and very active in veterans affairs. he's not physically disabled but is currently active in pursuing better treatment for PTSD. he'd be able to introduce you to many interesting people.
hopefully you won't forget about the maggots once you're rollin large in hollywood in your tricked out 4x4!

Fixed it for you.
This is awesome! I can't wait.
Oh, and if you do something car-related, it should be at Laguna Seca, not Indy. The corkscrew is way more photogenic. FKNA.

In any case, if you're ever really in this situation make sure you at least bargain in a couple of fluffers.

Awesome, Andy.
I'm sure there are a lot of people who need to know they only need to roll out that door and indulge themselves to find exhilaration and smiles.
You are motivation and inspiration for many, including me.
