Garbones vs. Original Big Daddy
Has anybody been on both the Moment Garbones and the original Big Daddy - (107 waist, hostage plate)? I was wondering how the flex compared.
The numbers run very similar but not too sure about the flex/feel.
Also, anybody ahve an idea when the moment guys are doing the spring sale? Melee?Recently overheard: "Hey Ralph, what were you drinking that time that you set your face on fire?"

Pretty different skis all around. Daddys are capped and are a little fatter than Garbones but with no rocker. Garbones are skinnier and beefy with some rocker. I've skied both the OG Sugars and Big Daddys with hostages plates. Besides the annouying hostage plate I felt they had real thin edges and sucked on ice. Garbones seem to be a sweet everyday ski, the rocker makes them ski a tad shorter.

Not surprised. Great ski. Guess that makes my decision for what topsheet I wanted easy.
