    A Sledding TR

theres a bunch of cool terrain behind my house thats too small and thin to do much with on skis. so i brought one of these:

    and did this:

interested to hear the comments on this one. the sled is a Mad River Rocket. the music is Jack Johnson off the September Sessions disc.

Hey that's a pretty slick video; looks like you had some fun. Enjoyed it when you missed your line and decided to stick it again.

Well played... I really liked the tree grab line correction.

    Incredibly cool. Loved watching that.

    That's radtastic!

I'm curious though, how rough on the knees is it? Seems like it'd be fine for a bit, but after a little while it'd just start to hurt... But what do I know...

in soft snow like that you really cant feel a thing. on longer runs on packed snow it can get to you though.

Looks like a lot of fun, and some killer snow to go with it...

i didnt get this part. too thin? looks deep to me! the only thing we got that deep round here is garbage. jersey represent!

ive seen this and figured its gotta hurt your back more than your knees...?
regardless, you looked like you had fun and the edit rocked. keep chasing.

added: do you think shorty little poles would help the sledding experience?
"Yeah, yeah. you buy Playboy for the articles just like I watch Brokeback Mountain for the scenery... wait, that doesnt work."

yes i suppose it was pretty deep though i did tag a couple rocks. its mainly the terrain that makes it better for sledding. those lines would be way too quick and small on skis.

nope, doesnt hurt the back, knees, whatever. if it was painful i wouldnt do it.

    and negative on the poles.
