Went in to see Mc_roon tonight around 6:15. He is doing well considering his injuries and is in great spirits with an optimistic attitude. I brought him a ski movie to pass some time. He has the attitude and will power to come back from this 100%! He is still in pain and still needs your vibes for a speedy recovery!

hello from the hospital bed! I havent even begun to scratch the surface on this thread, but im already touched.
Thanks for the vibes, the worst is behind me, it only gets easier from here on out. Ill put up more details when i feel strong enought, but am happy to tell you that my back surgery appears to be a success. 8 screws, twp rods, T12, L1,L2,L3. and i was never paralyzed.
this took me about 30 minutes to type

McRoon, I haven't seen you since Alpine Meadows in spring 2006, but have followed your ski stoke. Glad things worked out well for you (considering) in this. The back fusion thing should not even be noticeable but I suspect you'll have some down-time. Went through this with my daughter (a matter of a long fall off a tall horse).
