    Loveland Season Pass group rate?

All this season pass discussion got me thinking.... has anyone on TGR ever tried to get a group discount for our season passes at Loveland? There's got to be at least 20-30 people on here who get a season pass every year- if we could get a list of people who are definitely going to renew or buy a pass next year, I'd be happy contacting someone at the resort to inquire about a discounted rate.

Does anyone know anything about this? If not, go ahead and post here if you're getting a pass there next year so I can have a number to go with when I talk to a rep there.

Maybe I'm missing something, but where is their incentive to give a discount to a group of people who already plan to get a pass there? Isn't the idea of a "group buy" that you get people to buy something that they otherwise might not, because of the good deal?

Seems like you should be asking about who is interested, if the price is right.

I don't know what the price is, and I also know how the replies here go "if the price is right".

How do they know that we all plan on getting a pass there? Just because we already have one- doesn't really mean much with pass prices these days. Besides, I wouldn't approach them with names of people initially, just a number.

If the price they quote is more than the renewal rate, well then its obviously not worth it.

I'm considering a LL pass for next year and would def. be interested in some sort of group deal if possible.

    Seems highly unlikely though.

As Your Attorney, i advise you to do anything and everything possible to get as many people as you can skiing at loveland next year. Ohhh wait, you're already doing that.

    Well played .

I'm not feeling this idea. I'll be buying a LLand pass for sure. The pass is already a very fair price. It's a small biz mountain. I like supporting them and the way they run that business. I get a good product for a fair price.

A good deal for me + a good deal for them = a good deal.

I would be interested in a WP/MJ group buy, however.

I'm considering not renewing my pass and instead buying two 4-packs for next year. Then I'll have 8 days, and, if I need them, I can still buy another 5 discount tickets without going over the cost of a full pass. I doubt I'll ski more than 13 days at Loveland since I'll have the BC and the Epic Pass to keep me busy.

If you can get a good price on the pass, let me know and I'll reconsider.

when did you renew? I didn't pay nearly that much for my renewal. Much closer to $200...

and I think this is a bad idea regardless...

    adult vs. under 22 rate

and i agree with SS and jibij. Mention the "group buy" word, though, and all the idiots come running.

To be honest, I've been doing some thinking in the last few weeks, and I'm debating whether or not to renew. A lot of what I love about Loveland is that it's close and is the best option for half-days, which are all-important to me this year. In the fall, I'll probably ski 15 days total, so it won't mean much, and I should have 4-day weekends in the spring. So....??? Epic Pass = more EV days, more pow days in Blue Sky, more terrain that Loveland doesn't really have (that I've found).

Anyway, this is an unrelated issue. The passes are already ridiculously cheap for us young'uns, so I'd probably just renew at the normal kiddie rate instead of bothering with a group buy. I will "fourth" the opinion that LL is offering a great product at an extremely reasonable price.
