1st Gen. ANT Question.....
So I picked up a pair of 1st gen. ANT's today from the rental shop at my hill for $125 bucks CDN. They have been taken out on rental once for one run. Absolutely pristine, no top sheet chips, no knicks, no nothing. However, they are currently mounted with Tyrolia Sym Pro 9.... The only catch is when they were originally mounted, the tech mounted them backwards, so there is a reverse set of plugged holes under the current mount. Anyone have any info or experience with these bindings? They have a DIN up to 12 and I skied them at RMR without any issues. Seem to click in pretty solidly. Leave them or remount with something else? What do the experts say??? Thanks

I'd eventually yank them, but I'd put a few days on them to make sure you like them first. I'd also use the demo binding to find where you like them mounted. There has been substantial debate on where to mount these skis. Most like a -2cm mount but the typical range is from the marked topsheet line which varies ski to ski to -3cm.

Another thing to be aware of, the midsole line on the topsheet is often different on both skis, make sure you measure with tape. The line should be at -7cm from centre, and most people (myself included) go with -9cm from centre.
