I saw robins all winter long here. I've at least been seeing them since early February which leads me to believe that they never left. As far as winters go it is pretty mild on the front range.

It is not uncommon for Robins to winter in residential areas like boulder and can even winter in places much farther north and Cardinals are actually non-migratory. I'd say if you see a McGullivray's Warbler, then it is time to harvest the corn.

Robins are year round here...started to see some finchs and hummingbirds, but the snow geese have not yet left...so still must 6 more weeks of winter, right?
