Lost Trail Manana
5" since yesterday, two Heavy Snow Warnings posted at NOAA. I'm thinking it might be my last Thursday for awhile...since I might have to get the dreaded J. O. B. for a little while.
TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 6 TO 10 INCHES ARE EXPECTED THROUGH
WEDNESDAY MORNING. THE SNOW IN COMBINATION WITH BREEZY WINDS MAY CAUSE REDUCED VISIBILITIES ESPECIALLY OVER LOLO PASS AND LOST
TRAIL PASS.
A SECOND STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE INTO THE AREA THURSDAY MORNING.
HEAVY SNOW IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP THROUGHOUT THE DAY AND PERSIST
OVERNIGHT. TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS OF 8 TO 16 INCHES OF SNOW CAN BE
EXPECTED IN THE MOUNTAINS BY FRIDAY MORNING WITH WESTERLY FACING
SLOPES RECEIVING THE HEAVIEST SNOW.

We've stayed at the sula cabins before. Small private cabin, big hot tub, nice big breakfast, and two lift tickets for 100 bucks. The owner is super nice and left a cabin unlocked with the lights on when I told her that I was driving down from Whitefish and wouldn't get there til late at night.
We wish we could be a LT tomorrow but with the kid its just not feasible (time and money wise). We'll be catching freshies at the Big tomorrow for sure if anyone is interested.

It was really good. Faceshots all day - my best turns were after 2:00. Lots of hucks. The snow was a bit wind affected in the open areas in the morning - one turn might be 6" and the next 20". It just got deeper and lighter as the day went on. Trees felt bottomless all day. Today should be really good too. I carried my camera, but the battery died. So sorry, no pics.

I have no idea where that helmet cam footage is from...basically all of chair 4 liftline? I thought it was chair two, but then you drop off the left...totally confused. Aim that little fucker a little higher and it would be kickass. Still pretty sweet.
I couldn't believe how deep it was in Hollywood Bowl today, I'm almost glad I had to meet some clients at 3:30 in Hamilton, because my hucks were getting higher than my comfort level.
SO MANY FACESHOTS. fuck it was good. There were only like 80 people there, I swear.
I'll be there tomorrow with a large non mag crew, red or green jacket and freeheelin on infection yellow Bros.
