    Scarpa F1 Spacer

Today I dropped off some skis at a local shop to have some new Dynafit Comforts mounted on them. It occurred to me while I was driving home that there might be a mismatch with the spacer for the Scarpa F1 that I dropped off with them.

The spacers I have are shaped such that they fit neatly up against the toepiece of the Comforts. However, the newer Dynafits have a slightly different toepiece plate where the crampon mount is. I don't have them in front of me now, so my imagination is running wild that it might position the spacer too far back to effectively eliminate the bellows flex in the boot.

Anyone know if its an issue, if Scarpa has a new spacer, or if I need to reshape the spacer?

should be fine with a reshape

I sliced mine in half and just made sure the spacer was right under the bellows

    worked fine
For sure, you have to be lost to find a place that can't be found, elseways everyone would know where it was

Mine are about the width of my index finger and also directly under the bellows. Less is more.
