I could be wrong, but I think HDPE or Lexan would do the job nicely.
But like 'Chup said, the difference between lifted vs. non-lifted pivots is negligible

So get something 2mm think and mount it under the toe to compensate...I'd suggest plastic/rubber/etc. look at home depot and take calipers with you.
I'll also look around and see if I have 2mm toe...
